An Outdoor Dance Music Festival 40 Minutes From Central Tokyo
The Beach 2025 — a brand-new beach festival dedicated to dance music — makes its debut on Saturday, May 31, 2025.
The event will take place at Makuhari Seaside Park, a stunning spot on Tokyo Bay just 40 minutes by train from central Tokyo.
Headlining the festival are electronic music icons The Chemical Brothers, who will take the stage for an epic 2.5-hour DJ set.
Joining them is rising techno queen Sara Landry, fresh off her buzzworthy set at Coachella, along with Mura Masa, the Grammy-winning British producer.
The lineup also features a global mix of talent, including Korean DJ 250 — the producer behind NewJeans — and Thailand’s genre-pushing Meltmode.
Japan’s own legends will also be in the spotlight, with performances by pioneers Takkyu Ishino and Satoshi Tomiie, plus breakout artist ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, who made waves worldwide with his Boiler Room set.
Set against the backdrop of clear blue skies and a breathtaking sunset, the festival will wrap up with 1000 fireworks lighting up the night — the perfect finale to a day of music and pure beachside bliss.
Don’t miss the chance to be part of this unforgettable new chapter in Japan’s festival scene.
