Originally from Seoul, Eugenie spent her formative years in Osaka before studying English Literature at the University of Pennsylvania. Her love of fiction, theory and visual art led her to delve further into academia as an English Master’s student at the University of Virginia. During her academic stint, Eugenie remained fascinated by pop culture phenomena, fashion and lifestyle trends. She writes about these topics and more at Tokyo Weekender, sharing facets of communities close to her heart with the world.
